Adding a Database to Your Site
A database can be added to your site. Please note that a database is an option of our Advanced Hosting package and is not available with our standard package. You cannot add a database to the site if you have our Standard Hosting package. If you are unsure what hosting package you are using, please contact your account manager for assistance.
You can use ASP or Microsoft Front Page at access information in your database. We support both Microsoft Access 2000 or SQL Server 2000 databases. We prefer that customers utilize our redundant SQL Server environment for the following reasons:
- SQL Server provides faster performance in a web hosting environment
- SQL Server is more reliable
- Data within the SQL Server database is more easily backed up and restored
- Sites using SQL Server can be load balanced

Changing Passwords
For security reasons we recommend that customers change their passwords on a periodic basis. To change your password, simply contact us.
